About the role
We’re looking for a hands‑on mobile app developer who specialises in .NET MAUI and thrives on building and integrating APIs. You’ll own end‑to‑end app delivery—from architecture and UI through to API design, authentication, testing, CI/CD, and store release. Experience with Flutter is a plus.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and ship cross‑platform mobile apps with .NET MAUI (C#, .NET).
• Lead API‑centric development: REST/GraphQL design, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), versioning, and performance tuning.
• Implement secure auth flows (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), handle tokens/refresh, and protect sensitive data.
• Integrate with internal and third‑party services (e.g., Azure API Management, Functions, microservices).
• Set up automated build/release pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and app distribution (App Center/TestFlight/Play Console).
• Write maintainable, well‑tested code (unit, integration, and UI tests) and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and stakeholders to scope, deliver, and iterate quickly.
• Monitor app health (telemetry, crash analytics) and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring (Must‑have)

• Strong commercial experience with .NET MAUI (or Xamarin.Forms with proven MAUI migration).
• Deep experience building and consuming APIs end‑to‑end (design, auth, docs, scaling).
• Solid command of C#, .NET 8, async programming, MVVM, dependency injection.
• Practical security know‑how (secure storage, cert pinning, secret management).
• CI/CD fluency and Git best practices; comfort with Azure cloud services.
• Tooling you know well: Postman/Insomnia, Swagger, Fiddler/Charles, App Center.
• Clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and a delivery mindset.

Nice to have

• Flutter/Dart experience (cross‑platform UI, state management, plugin development).
• Mobile performance optimisation, accessibility, and localisation.
• Store operations (App Store/Google Play), release management, and compliance.
• Experience with push notifications, offline sync, and app data caching.
