About the Role
We are passionate about supporting our clients and the impactful work they do. One of our core areas of expertise is Financial Services, aimed at transforming our clients' financial management systems and processes. Reporting to the GM of FS, this role is crucial in delivering our FS projects.
You will leverage your extensive background in accounting, bookkeeping and auditing to understand our clients’ business requirements. Your experience with financial systems will be essential in implementing newly designed financial management systems and processes, guiding our clients through their change journey.
Qualifications
- Accounting qualification or equivalent.
- Xero Advisor Certification.
- ApprovalMax Certification (desirable).
Skills & Experience
- Extensive accounting experience with proven expertise in auditing (ensuring compliance and best practices).
- Experience implementing financial management systems (e.g., Xero, MS Business Central, and integrated applications).
- Advanced level MS Excel skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment.
- Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Solutions-focused with robust problem-solving capabilities (diagnose issues, identify solutions, and implement them).
- Experience in providing training and support to clients on new financial management systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and interpret client requirements to identify compliance and improvement opportunities within their existing financial management practices and processes.
- Design and implement financial management system solutions (e.g., Xero or Business Central) in consultation with the GM of FS to meet client needs.
- Reconcile financial data from various sources and ensure a successful migration to the new system.
- Provide accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with client accountants to ensure the accuracy of financial data for IRD filing and board reporting.
- Develop training materials to assist clients in utilizing the new system post-implementation.
